Smirnoff Ice (Red) commonly known as "Red Ice"
CDC began producing Smirnoff Ice (Red) in 2003 under the stringent directions of the brand owner Diageo, following an investment in plant and equipment. It quickly became the dominant player in the relatively new RTD (Ready To Drink) beverage segment in Trinidad and Tobago. Smirnoff Ice (Red) is an exciting blend of Vodka and Lime with a sweet but tart finish.It is a refreshing mixed drink with a balance of sweet, and acidic flavours. The Vodka gives a clean neutral finish to the blend. Smirnoff Ice (Red) has an alcohol content of approximately 5.5 % Alcohol by Volume.
Smirnoff Ice (Black) commonly known as "Black Ice"
CDC began producing Smirnoff Ice (Black) in 2005. Unlike Smirnoff Ice (Red), Black Ice is a completely clear product. (There is no cloudy appearance as in the case of Red Ice). The product has a less sweet flavour, higher alcohol content (7.0 % Alcohol by Volume) and mild fruity flavour. It delivers a clean vodka flavour with a less sweet finish when compared to Red Ice.
